ADAC was created on 12 January 1989 and the new framework agreement No 0348/000181 was signed on 17 March 2008 with the Government of Mali. It is a national NGO apolitical, secular and non-profit. It is based on the principles of gender equity and freedom of expression. The bodies are: the General Assembly, the Executive Committee and the Permanent Secretariat.
The strategic directions
The strategic plan was developed over a period of five (5) years 2021 - 2025. The strategic orientations or priorities have been defined for this purpose as a result of analysis of internal and external environment
